Strait-Flex

is a versatile, paper-faced composite drywall corner bead and joint tape used to create sharp, strong inside, outside, and off-angle corners, especially on tricky areas like bay windows or vaulted ceilings, requiring less mud and offering superior durability and less fuzzing than traditional methods. It's applied with joint compound, creates perfect lines, resists cracking, and allows for immediate second-coat application. It comes in multiple widths. The original straight flex is 2-1/16 in wide x 100 ft plastic tape and doesn't have the paper face. The original is known to pop off the wall at the peak of vaulted ceilings. The paper face was added to create a better bond with the drywall paper.
